Diamond Lite Tile


For this tutorial you will need
Paint Shop Pro - DOWNLOAD TRIAL VERSION HERE.
Simple Diamond filter - DOWNLOAD HERE.

1. Open a new image 100 x 100 background white.

2. Go to Effects - Texture Effects - Blinds. Set as below.

3. Add a new layer. Flood fill with white. Repeat Blinds as above but put a check in horizontal. (I did it this way so I don't have to rotate and sharpen it and thus degrade it.)

4. Double click on your Selection Tool . Set the following selection Left 50, Right 100, Top 0, Bottom 50.

5. Click OK and hit the delete key. Deselect.

6. Repeat Step 4 with the following selection Left 0, Right 50, top 50, Bottom 100. Click OK and hit the delete key. Deselect.

7. On your layer palette merge all (flatten) and you should have this:

8. Apply Simple Filter, Diamonds. Your image should look like this:

9. Add a new layer. Set your foreground color to red and your background color to black. Set you floodfill tool to gradient and select foreground/background, sunburst gradient, horizontal 50, vertical 50, repeats 1.

10. Flood fill the new layer with this gradient.

11. Go to the layer palette and decrease the opacity to 65 on the red and black gradient layer.

12. Merge all. Done!
