The 6 images below show the effects of changing the angle of the side walls.
Take a look at the back wall in all 6 images.
The size of that wall is identical.
In the first 3 images I have increased the angle of the side walls upward.
This causes the perception of increasing depth for the room.
The second 3 images show the effect of cropping the above 3 images to the same height.
This causes the perception of decreasing width for the room.
