Gingham Tile and Color Replacer
Part 2
So now we want to change the color of our gingham. Just for fun we'll change it to red and white.
1. Open the PSP image you just saved in Part 1.
2. With the eye dropper tool
right click on the color of the darker square in your gingham that you just created. This will make it your background color. Change your foreground color to red.
3. Your color palette will now look like this.
4. Now click on the color replacer tool
.
5.In the tool palette set your brush size fairly large. (I used 50) Shape doesn't matter. Make sure density is set at 100.
6. Take your color replace brush and swipe it over your gingham tile--first on 1 layer, then on the other. Your tile is now changed from blue and white to red and white gingham.
You now have a red gingham square that will tile seamlessly just as your blue one did. You can change it to any color you need by using the color replacer brush. There's no need to save more than one gingham tile.
